Last weekend, I bought a large white plastic storage box to store some winter clothes. Unfortunately, there was no elegant way of taking it home on my scooter. It was too big to fit on the scooter floor in front of me. So, I came up with a clever idea of wearing it on my back, over my backpack full of groceries, and strapping it on with some elastic mesh from the front. The result is what you see to the right.

No doubt I turned a few heads on my way home.

Sometimes if I have to buy these things (which I have) and then transport them home on my scooter (which I also have), I flip the box kind of upside down so that it "cups" the front end of the seat. Then I ride the scooter with my legs straddling the box, and voila. Assuming, of course, that you don't have to sit so far back that it causes a threat to your safety.

I tried that also, but the box was too big to fit at that angle. It was too deep, so the depth of the box wouldn't clear the distance between my seat and the front section.
